Congratulations Vince! April 1, 2010

Happy April to all!
Wow, what a day - temperature at 84!!!  Spring has sprung and I love it.  My crocuses & daffodils have made a grand appearance to welcome the season.

 

 Tonight Vince was inducted into Phi Theta Kappa which is an international honor society for students with grade point averages of 3.5 or above.  PTK provide opportunities for individual growth and development through participation in honors, leadership, service and fellowship programming.  Great job Vince!  We are proud of you.

As we wrote in our dedication for Vince's yearbook:
"Dear Vince,
You are a blessing in our lives and we are so thankful for you.  We chose a strong name for our third son - Vincent means conqueror and victor.  You certainly have proven to be a conqueror for Christ with your strong faith and servant's heart.  "In all things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us" (Romans 8:37) and we are confident nothing will ever separate you from the love of God.   We are touched that you desire to find a profession where you can help people.  You have always been one to reach out with compassion...to put all selfishness aside to do the good, right, kind thing - just because you know it will make a difference someday to someone...you have a true servant's heart. We praise the Lord for the blessing you bring to us.
